Crisp chilly morning in paradise with a little ice on the car.
Since services are back now, really wondering how/when/if my town comes back, especially #tourism.
Before the storm on a normal week I would interact with 50 to 70 tourists. Since the storm, a month and a half, I have seen exactly two.
I don't think it's going to be a flip the switch thing I think it's going to be a crawl back up the hill but we will see.
Hey, #Asheville. Don't know if this is a #holiday you celebrate, but ice cream is ice cream, and The Hop has just opened their store for their holiday Yule Logs.
Something we splurge with every year.

Well, here's some good #Asheville news: We may have potable water by next week!
Not sure how they're doing this after all the doom-amnd-gloom, but Nov 20 may be a water date.

Asheville could have drinkable water by middle of next week, city says
Asheville residents could have drinkable water by next week, nearly two months after the city’s primary water system was catastrophically damaged by Tropical Storm Helene.ANDREW R. JONES (Asheville Watchdog)
This is the work of clueless people.
Our town is no way ready for tourism. Most restaurants and hotels do not have potable water using water trucks. Biltmore is closed. The parkway is closed. Most of the breweries are closed.
This smells like entitled rich people wondering where their money is..

In first meeting since Helene, tourism board says Asheville needs visitors now to recover
The TDA says the city needs visitors back now to boost the economy but hasn’t yet shared clear plans around accommodating tourists in a disaster zone.Laura Hackett (Blue Ridge)
Today marks one month since #Helene blew threw the greater #Asheville area resulting in many deaths, widespread destruction and total loss of some communities due to flooding.
@avlcharlie and others kept us posted then and are still recovering from the storm, day by day.
I asked Charlie which local aid organizations folks anywhere could donate to. Here are links to two, both 501(c)(3) charities.
Pease help if you can. Thank you. ❤️

DON'T SEND MORE BOTTLEFLOW PRINTS TO ASHEVILLE!
Thanks so much for all your efforts and generous donations to make BottleFlows and send them for hurricane relief.
They have been tremendously helpful and made a significant difference in many people's lives. We are now saturated and it looks like we have enough to serve the local communities.
Please do not continue to make and send these to Asheville as it would be a waste of resources.
