The map combines community reports from the #Fediverse and shelters and veterinaries from #OpenStreetMap loaded in real time as you zoom in.
PawFed is built to be a community project, not a one person effort. There will be many ways to contribute beyond posting reports.

#PawFed is a project close to my heart. It's a collaborative map for animal welfare that bridges the #Fediverse and #OpenStreetMap.

The idea: mention @PawFed from your Mastodon account with hashtags and a location, and your report appears on the map. No signup, no app, just your existing Fediverse account.
It's not perfect yet, but the foundation is there. I will publish the source code soon under AGPL.

Der er forÄr i luften, og OsmAnd er klar til tur!

Overlejring viser Fri teltning-omrÄderne i statens skove, mens hutigknapperne er indstillet til at vise henholdsvis wc/vand, shelter/lejrpladser og bord-bÊnke.

OsmAnd kan med sine mange indstillinger vÊre mere forvirrende end f.eks. CoMaps (og Google Maps). NÄr man har fÄet styr pÄ dem, er den dog, efter min mening, en af de bedste apps til #friluftsliv - naturligvis bygget pÄ de Äbne data fra #OpenStreetMap
