ginny is homeless after a severe flooding from a hurricane and needs help covering temporary housing and food for them and their pets.
"I have been to hospital 4 times in the past few weeks. I am in near constant either pain or panic and am alone with no family or anyone nearby."
ginny is an orphan and a survivor of nazi harrassment, anything helps!

Decided to watch #Gladiator2 at my local #AMC yesterday, instead of driving to #Berkeley to watch #Queer at the #Elmwood. Planning to drive to see Queer at the Elmwood this coming weekend instead.
I thought Gladiator2 was just "ok."
#RidleyScott tried to make an #EpicFilm & in some ways he succeeded but the ending was too predictable & there were too many #PlotGaps, discontinuities & improbabilities for my taste.
I didn't like #Gladiator1 all that much to begin with -- mainly because I really don't like #JoaquinPhoenix -- but I think Glad1 is better than Glad2.
I'd give Glad1 a 7 out of 10 & Glad 2 a 6.
I admit that I don't follow musical trends much but I listen to the #radio all of the time & often discover that I REALLY liked this or that #singer or group whose music I read on the radio but didn't know their name(s) until many years later, #Pink & #FleetwoodMac among them.
Well, after watching the #DuaLipa special on #CBS last night, I can add her to the list.
Her special was a #MasterClass in how to make a musical performance theatrical.
She had ALL the moves perfectly orchestrated to the music & I couldn't help but think that there will be all kinds of male #crossdressers mimicing her costume, moves & routines in #queer bars all across the nation if they aren't already doing it now.
The epitome of female sexuality with a voice --- perfect teeth, perfect figure, perfect hair & a British accent, what more could a straight man (or lesbian) want?
LOL! 😉
If you haven't watched it yet, watch it if you still can.

In describing how sapphic relationships and attraction in Arabic texts have often been left to be read between the lines, Mejdulene Bernard Shomali wrote in "Living in the Ellipses":
"The failure of language for me is not exclusively a failure. I am drawn to what cannot be named"
And holy fuck, that may be the most lesbian sentence I have read this year!
Came up in this great piece about the queer arab glossery, which is also amazing: them.us/story/marwan-kaabour-q…
Inside Marwan Kaabour's Queer Arab Glossary, a Searching Expression of LGBTQ+ Arab History
Kaabour has curated a necessary intervention in understanding queer Arabness on — and through — our own terms, instead of those imported into the region.George Abraham (Them.)
Someone has created a petition for the UK government to legally recognise non-binary as a gender
We're certain that the UK government will refuse to act on it, but it'd be nice if such a large number of people voted for it that they couldn't ignore it
Boosts welcome

Petition: Legally recognise Non-Binary as a gender
Many non-binary people in the UK currently feel invisible and ignored. Therefore, we think this government should seek to reform the Gender Recognition Act 2004 so that it extends legal recognition to a third, non-binary gender.Petitions - UK Government and Parliament
