Never had a cat so melodramatic. Shine smooshes his head against me and does this sort of prayer pose to beg for pets. Once or twice a day.

And he doesn't leave until he gets enough.

Soot lost Mr. Mouse, her previous favorite toy.

After a couple of weeks, she has selected this one, which I dub Ms. Cherry, to be her favorite toy.

I bought a half dozen of these because I knew she'd destroy/lose them. She only plays with her 'favorite', goodness knows how she decides. But once she does, she carries it around and demands I throw it.
