The hand I injured in 2022 is still very sensitive and not as strong as I’d like, but I can finally write more than a couple of sentences at a time!

I wanted to include a *poem with an art project and used the lovely Sailor that @left_adjoint gave me last month. It’s the first “long write” with this pen and it’s delightful.

Trying to decide if I want to get a bottle of the Kala ink that was in it (Mongolian Sandstorm). I recently purchased a larger bottle of Diamine Jacaranda, which is a gorgeous “blurple”. The Kala is definitely more towards the purple side than blue and is very legible.

I love a bargain, and my Jinhao 75 fountain pen certainly fits the bill. It's light, big enough for my giant hands and writes like a dream. I could never go back to a roller ball pen. I think it cost me AUD$12 and I use a bottle of Waterman: Serenity Blue ink to ink it. #fountainpen
