#Wi is the Sun in #Lakota #mythology. Created by #Skan, the Sky, in order to warm #Maka, the Earth, Wi proved too hot, and needed to be moderated by #Anp (light) and #Han (darkness) following each other in regular fashion so that Maka be not too hot, or cold, or dark, or bright.
