It has been a while since I posted one of these pictures of oil drops in water. So here you go.

Large and small bubbles of oil float underneath the surface of a Pyrex baking pan of water. The colors from a blue and pink and gold colored cloth underneath the baking pan shine through the emulsion.

There are a lot of things photographers do when they first start shooting.

First tripod? Stand on a bridge at night and photograph speeding cars passing underneath.

First f/1.4 prime lens? How about a bouquet of colored pencils in a cup.

I went through a lot of phases 😁
