Voter turnout among young people is historically low in the United States. And there is indication that a relatively small percentage of young voters could cast their ballot in November.

If you look at 'red' districts that elected republicans to congress, and look for 'eligible but not registered' voters, the biggest block is typically people < 30. In nearly all of those districts the block represents a percentage of the vote that, had it voted and voted democrat, it would have changed the outcome. If anyone can activate that block it changes everything.
