I love his movies and the roles he played in, especially Christopher Nolan's. You can actually see him shredding a few tears there.

Thank you for sharing.

@shye

He’s come a long way from being Andrew Keatons bully on Family Ties and that neighbor kid on Rosanne who claimed he wasn’t always singing when he was.

A repeal of Section 230 would kill the Fediverse in the US. Meta and Microsoft are in favor of reforming Section 230 because it would create a "moat," preventing competitors from forming.

@1337 Hmm, interesting. That sounds like the opposite of what Gordon-Levitt is aiming for. How does that work? How could anyone regulate the Fediverse? I have to admit I'm not fully familiar with the details of Section 230.

Section 230 treats web providers kind of like telecoms or the post office.. So, when someone goes to your site, and posts something, the person that posts it is responsible, not necessarily the site owner. Repealing Section 230 would make it impossible for anyone without large funds for moderation and to fight lawsuits to host a Fediverse instance. I.e. they could be liable for anything any random person would post. Without Section 230, every platform on the US Internet would be heavily censored to avoid any kind of liability.
