As a hobby, I paste Ronald Reagan's head, along with an arrow pointing to the date of his inauguration, on graphs that show how his policies led to the obscene level of income inequality we have today.

The graph shows that prior to 1980, all income earners gained at the same rate, but around 1980, the top 5%, median, and bottom 20% income earners begin to diverge. By 2017, the top 5% of earners have gained the most - around 180% since 1947. Median earners gained just over 120%, and the bottom 20% gained only about 110%. I superimposed a cutout of Ronald Reagan's head onto the graph with an arrow pointing to 1981 when he was inaugurated and where the lines begin to diverge. His policies did this. It is his fault.
