🚨⏳ Act now! Microsoft just enabled flex routing for Copilot users in the EU - and you're opted in automatically!

This means your data can be processed outside of the EU.

Turn if off now: Copilot → Settings → Flex routing → Do not allow flex routing

Even better, yet, cancel Copilot. Here's why: tuta.com/blog/microsoft-copilo…

Even better than canceling copilot: Getting rid of microsoft on all private hardware!

Retooted for anyone dumb enough to still be using Windows. Or those forced to. 👍

Exactly what difference does this make? Since we're talking about US based companies, the US govt. can access your data regardless.

thanks for the warning, but I'm on Linux, Iodé and, for the moment and with reservations, on Mistral. Keep up the good work on keeping us safe.

I think you got this one wrong. The only way to opt out is to delete your microsoft account alltogether.

When you say «your data», what do you mean exactly?

Because I'm forced to use Windows at work, and most configuration options are managed by our computer team.

is it possible to get deb package instead app image, can't install. Program won't run.

Everyone using windows should hop on AtlasOS if not linux

I guess I don't have to worry about that with my Windows 7, which I'm (still) using. 😉 I'm currently trying to get up to speed with Linux and will be switching over soon. Thankfully, I've already replaced everything else.

Disabling flex routing makes no difference: the CLOUD act applies, so they have your data anyway.

Cancel Copilot ? But it's for entertainment only ! Everybody loves entertainment!

As a #Linux user, I wasn't aware that I was "opted in automatically"?
Amazing.
in reply to Tuta

It's OK. They only keep all the metadata for "security and operations".

Better still, cancel Microsoft. Linux Mint MATE edition is the perfect choice for those wanting to leave Microslop.
