We should be proliferating Hydro schemes again. No waste that needs storing for 1000+ years with Hydro!

certainly does. Which is why they put GB Energy here to exploit it.

ScotGov should have told Starmer and Miliband and to do one.

Our resources, but England gets free access, and we continue to pay the highest electricity prices in the UK?

Just another reminder: if regional pricing was active in the UK energy market, Scotland would have the cheapest electricity in Europe.

This is an interesting, if uncritical, interview with Greg Jackson, CEO of Octopus Energy. He mentions that if regional pricing was in operation in the UK energy market, #Scotland would have the cheapest electricity in Europe (see from 10m 43s).

I'll let you decide what mix of political issues has prevented Westminster from implementing regional pricing, but we in Scotland are paying through the nose for their intransigence.
