How’s them vibes?

(Almost like it’s good to know what you’re doing when you do something.)

Letting AI write shit for you and putting it into production when you don’t know how to code.

oh... i see. So if i modify bullshit(1) in a 9front installation to write code for me, that's vibe coding.

"weird ppl out there" please "I'm not technical" stop doing technical things so I would be able to share what a paid AI does for me and give you lessons about how to build without pressing a key. 😂 😂 😆 🤦‍♀️
This guy has a promising tech bro career.

I am okay with AI being an assistant and nothing more. Building is my job or I could hire a human.

"Garbage In, Garbage Out."

Those glorified auto-completers were trained in all kinds of garbage code stollen from public repos hosted on Github, Gitlab, Codeberg, etc. When the ratio of good code to bad code is close to 90% (Sturgeons Law), no wonder the spew awfull, insecure code.

Those plagiarism machines don't have the reasoning abilities we do, they just produce code based on what's more likely to fit the prompt. That's it.

hahahaha Well earned. God I hope this keeps happening.

Thing is, it was always happening, people just weren't announcing their plagiarism. There are so many people who have no clue what they are doing and are just solving shit using StackExchange* or whatever instead of actually learning their trade properly.

*(A little bit is fine, but please know what the fuck you're doing.)
