Might even be pretty simple:
Use Fedi profile + some optional extra images + super private mega encrypted location data and done? :)

Like it would just need a few minor tweeks to Mastodon or Pixelfed code right

@madeindex haha yep exactly the same here! my webdev is rusty and I have games and paintings to make..

also there's the issue of predators.. you kinda need some form of moderation when someone misbehaves.. and I couldn't cope with being partly responsible for something terrible happening.. 😬

We could include a feedback and or rating option and a call police button. Then we would already be doing much more than everybody else!

Also if it's linked to your real Fedi profile, it could have minimum requirements (age, posts etc.)

Could also just give it to a non profit like Masto foundation as soon as it's gaining traction 🤷

@madeindex I don't like masto foundation! they are too corporate for a non profit for me 😅

but I do like the minimum requirements stuff. like a sort of "web of trust" thing. it's already working like that a bit; when someone follows me and I see we have 2 or 3 shared contacts that I trust, I tend to trust them somewhat too :)

Don't follow the Fedi politics too much tbh haha
