As an outdoor enthusiast, there is no better weekend plan than to go #hiking with my gf and friends!
Like many of you I also enjoy reading (especially #nonfiction), listening to music (did someone say sad vibes rock/post-punk?) and engaging in the study of my greatest passion, #photography.

I’ve been using @IceCubesApp as my mastodon client on iOS and this update seems to have broken the ability to tap the “Timeline” button to take me to the most recent post. Hopefully that can be fixed quickly!
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to migrate your data as well when you need/want to move to new servers in the #fediverse? @lisarue is leading a lot of work creating a spec towards that: https://swicg.github.io/activitypub-data-portability/lola.html

@anderspuck Huh‽ @threads made #ActivityPub opt-in for legal reasons. @wordpressdotcom did the same thing. Both are massive, for-profit corporations who are under a lot of scrutiny.
Turning on #Fediverse sharing as a default option would open #Meta to not only potential personal lawsuits, but more wrath from the @EUCommission (which they are trying to avoid right now).

Be aware! They guy who runs bird.makeup instance is making money out of it. He is automating and nearly impersonating each and every profile available on #Twitter above and beyond any restrictions. There is no opt-out of it. According to his opinion, either you make your twitter account #private or bear what he is doing.
