oof, can we have a more clear language here? As a calendar "apps", I understand some application that can manage for instance calendars hosted somewhere or locally saved, e.g., using CalDAV. Anything else I would call a calendar provider/hoster.

@FausFernandez You can have as many paid accounts as you like. When you want a free one, our TOS only allow one per person as we respect your privacy and do not abuse your data.

I can recommend nextcloud. Works with caldav. Using DAVx5 for android with Etar as calendar.

Ps; I have enjoyed using Tuta for a few years, questionable slips like I mentioned below make me a bit nervous....

@MrGR @viennawriter Nextcloud kann man selbst hosten, und dann mit Tuta kombinieren. ;)

@viennawriter Sorry, ich habe gerade mal die MagentaCloud S eingerichtet und sofort festgestellt, dass es sich dabei um keine Nextcloud handelt sondern nur um eine ganz normale Cloud ohne Apps wie Kalender oder Adressbuch gibt. Damit hat sich das erledigt. Alternativ empfehle ich Mailbox.org
