Good morning Fedi friends! Today is the 1 year anniversary of the start of my #selfhosting adventures with #YunoHost.

I'm currently self-hosting #GoToSocial, #Pixelfed, #PeerTube and #NextCloud – and I'm always on the lookout for the next great app to install.

Thank you @yunohost for making me a more empowered digital citizen 💖

PieFed is new on the YunoHost app store. It's a great way to interact with the Threadiverse (Lemmy, Mbin, PieFed, etc.). It's quite resource hungry, but runs great alongside PeerTube on my VPS. apps.yunohost.org/app/piefed

With the constant port scanning across the net, isn't there a risk that someone else will manage to create the admin user before you do? Or is there something in the setup to stop that?

Matomo and Immich are great for replacing Google's products.

For using Immich you probably want to keep things private (rather than having it open to the internet for uploads) so take a look at Tailscale for your own personal VPN service 😉

@kim_harding @teapot_ben thanks! I quit Google Analytics over a year ago and switched to Plausible... to save on costs I thought of Matomo.

As for Immich, yes absolutely. And I'm already testing Tailscale 🤗
