Attention U.S. lawyers, law firms, law professors: please join me and hundreds of others who have signed this letter to Bondi, attempting to remind her of her obligations to rule of law and her duty to stop enabling Trump’s attacks on client representation and the independence of the legal profession. democracyforward.org/action/op…

I agree, you might add #LawFedi, #FediLaw, #Legal, and #LegalNews to your text for reach.

Also, a headline helps quite a bit, as well as an image or link.

👉#ClientRepresentation: Trump Administration on Course To Destroy Rule Of Law👈

Also, this reminds me of Russia's treatment of lawyers having defended political dissidents.

It is a clear case of #FirstTheyCame:

The legal community has to call the authoritarianism=enabling law firms to task,. Not just through institutions like the bar, but privately, through social pressure.

So, I'm sending S&C and Jones Day lawyers I know Judge Howell's opinion (assets.bwbx.io/documents/users…) and a couple of Timothy Ryback's great articles (theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/… and theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…).

Not spamming. Just a reminder of the stakes. And their roles in supporting an authoritarian takeover.
