This afternoon's weather forecast is pretty grim and foreboding with talk of "severe" storms. The corn is SO close to being ready that I added some more rope supports to help keep it upright. Fingers crossed. Best laid plans and all... BTW look at the way the butternut squash has taken over the whole area.

The rope seems sufficient at this height 🤞

You could consider growing something about half it's size next to it, to decrease the power of the wind that reaches them?

⇧
