There is no end to the greed of #Trump and his associates. Is this the rationale to be used for the bombing of #Iran, and #Israel’s bombing of #Lebanon, and Trump’s takeover of #Venezuela? Now he’s gloating that all the ships are coming to the #USA to load up with crude. But, afaik, crude varies by geographical location, and not all can be processed in any specific refinery. Is this him pretending he has somehow ‘won’? Some countries are denied passage through the Straits, not all. #Oil
It's not just that, it's also that any restriction in the supply of oil anywhere will raise the price for everyone, including for people within the US.
The only people benefitting are the oil company shareholders, everyone else is made poorer including most Americans.
It's also going to mess up supply chains for all kinds of goods that the US depends on, with lots of unexpected consequences.
