@ambivalena Thanks. Hanging a drape or curtain in front of the front door is a Spanish thing. Many people do it on older houses. I assume it's to keep the heat out.

Note also the ring next to the door. Someone told me it's to tether your horse or donkey. We have one of those rings next to our front door, but we don't have a donkey 😂
