A close up photograph of a single blade of a fern, arching down and past the center of the frame from the upper left. Near the end of the blade it curls up in a loose spiral ending in a sharp tip after about one revolution. in the extension of the diagonal, there is another blade from another frond in the background near the lower right corner, mirroring the shape of the main subject, growing and curling the other way, and out of focus. Along the right edge, a small part of another frond is visible and the background is a blurry bright green, with slight structure hinting of more ferns further back.
