There is something spooky about the soil in this photo, the shadows from the leaves make it look like eyes of some dark creature, but at the same time the light on the leaves gives a great feeling of growth and a positive mood.

A contradiction, which I really enjoy!

Thank you. I love looking for these little patches of light and colour in the deepest and darkest of forests. And the big green leaves told me right away that this would be a colour photograph. 🙏
