For #InsectSaturday, a Eurasian #beeBeetle!

When I was about to leave the house last Saturday, I suddenly spotted this #beetle in the front garden, thinking it was a bee first. I ran back inside and grabbed the camera (because Bienstag, obviously!). šŸ˜‚ I've never seen this beetle before in my life! It was very windy that day and the #oxeyeDaisy was swaying in the wind. This is the best shot I managed to get. Dunno what this bee beetle was doing here. I read that it's often found in mountainous areas. Maybe it's as bad at navigating as I am? šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Hey, that is a really nice catch šŸ˜ @meoralis but, I believe this is a it's cousin, a trichius gallicus since this one doesn't have the black gooing all the way up to the "neck".
