"The latest disclosures, released this week by Markey, indicate that Ring’s new facial recognition feature, “Familiar Faces,” launched this week despite what Markey calls “reckless” failures to safeguard the biometric data of people who are unknowingly scanned."

*** Your face is going into Ring's database and being cross correlated every time you visit someone with a Ring camera, apparently. 😬 😡

Future "Ring for LEO" feature undoubtely will be unwarranted surveillance, i.e. "Here's a photo of Bob. Give us the history of all the times you have spotted Bob on Ring cameras, ever, with dates and times!"

Triggered by "Look, Bob is on a watch list, he attended a No Kings protest. Let's see all the people he has visited and add them as a collaborator for the US domestic terror list."
