YouTube (and their owners Google) are evil. Time to look for alternatives elsewhere.

PeerTube accounts' followers don't need to be on PeerTube.

People on Mastodon can follow and interact with PeerTube accounts, so if you set up a PT account you can encourage your Mastodon followers to follow it too (fedi.tips/how-do-i-use-peertub…).

People can also follow PeerTube accounts from podcasting apps such as Apple Podcasts (fedi.tips/how-to-subscribe-to-…).

Could I make a suggestion on css styles for fedi.tips?

I think the font weight of the body text needs to be lighter. The default bolded font weight for body text is hard to read.

@ozoned I tried before but does anyone...USE peertube? The instances were there but didn't seem worth using. I was going to try setting up torrents instead

The more people post videos, the more people use it. I've tried to highlight the best channels at the moment at fedi.video

The audience doesn't have to be on PeerTube, PeerTube accounts can be followed and interacted with entirely within Mastodon etc.

PeerTube can also be followed from podcast apps like Apple Podcasts etc.
