Campaign: a golden, USA made phone

Production: yellow ish, China made phone with not even the correct number of stripes on it’s ’American’ flag

This tells the full #Trump story, always false promises, scamming and grifting wherever possible

Luckily thanks to the incredibly bad security on their website we know the actual order number is closer to 10K instead of the bullshit numbers they keep selling

Another day, another grift

From what I've read the internals are a phone from 3 years ago that you can buy at one fifth of the price of this piece of crap. And didn't this abomination come with a subscription nearly twice as expensive as the equally spec'd alternative from the non-gangsters?
Oh well, at least it's made "with American values in mind".

*laughs in EU accent*

Tbh I did not think there would ever be a phone at all. I'm not saying it's a good thing. I'm just saying I'm surprised that any phone of any kind ever got produced, in any country.

It looks A LOT like the backside of an older Samsung Galaxy S-series. I'm guessing it was designed to be a generic version of those phones.

Didn't Trump declare a national ban on internet routers made in China? But he will stamp his own name on a phone that was made there?

Where are we going to get the routers to supply wifi for our lame Trump phones, when they can't connect to our data service providers, because they are cheap pieces of shyte?

nice catch
I sent an email to the NYT about this

I would suggest you all send a polite email to your local news source

I guess his name (or "TRUMP MOBILE" to be exact) is supposed to be the seventh "red" stripe.

No, I'm not a Trump apologist.
That thing is ugly as its corrupt, demented, scamming, misogynist, lying, racist etc. name giver.

For everyone's amusement, given the country manufacturing those phones, here's the flag they should have put on it. I made it for a tee shirt some years ago when the U.S. was having trouble passing a budget, causing a government shutdown, and I thought Congress needed a reminder regarding who our largest creditor was (about 15% of our debt at the time).
