Yo #Google

What the fuck is wrong with you?

It's called "Gulf of Mexico" not Gulf of Oilspills 🇺🇸

Seriously, wtf?

It doesn't matter what dictator #Trump thinks, he can go to hell anyways

People MUST REFUSE to comply with illegal or immoral orders from the Musk/Trump axis of evil. Or democracy is dead and GONE !

Dictator, criminal and pervert Trump should also know: “If you are a bad person in this life you are not going to resurrect into the next life.”

Apple maps: so far so good.
(But I’m assuming this will eventually also change)

I would have imagined that Google would have the means to limit this alternate name to its users in the United States, and spare the rest of the world from the consequence of our little tantrum.

Okay, unpopular take coming.

Renaming that bit of sea is harmless. It's just a diversion technique to make people angry and to get them to look away from a myriad far worse things The Blob is doing. And people swallow it hook, line and sinker.

Don't fall for it.

@Eetschrijver I agree and I don't take it seriously but I hate the fact that Google does..

It's clearly one of the many diversions indeed so people don't see the ones that have a lot more impact

There's just soooo much

Interestingly the result depends on your IP address. From a US address Google doesn't even mention "Gulf of Mexico" anymore.
