Yesterday I had a discussion with someone who watched a LOT on Twitch
He was mad because someone he likes spoke out about the current situation in the US and he said he doesn't want to hear about politics on Twitch
I said that I think that if a person gets popular enough, they have a certain responsibility to call out things that are wrong in this world
They don't have to "convert" their stream to that but don't stay silent
Staying silent and ignoring stuff is like a silent agreement

Anyone who says "keep politics out of [ whatever ] " is a low key nazi piece of shit, and not worth the bother to keep among your circle of relationships.

A while ago his opinions started to shift towards the right but he's now very close to the edge or over it
At some point he said something like:
"Renée Good had it coming" and that made me SO VERY MAD
I don't give a shit who you are, you don't say that stuff with me around
It's truly sad to see someone getting converted by Twitter into taking over bullet points from the White House

If you liked them, maybe spend a second thinking about what it would take to make you risk your income to speak out."
