this question was asked at a White house press briefing: whether #Trump would return it as the current US values were misaligned with the ones that the Statue of Liberty represents.
They answered "no, and France should remember that without the US they'd all be speaking German right now".
I wonder if Trump's US would fight against the Nazis if WWII was happening right now.. More likely they'd be trying to invade France with the Nazis 😬
