Ubuntu is missing the boat here. They could sell subscriptions for $20 a year to millions of people with perfectly good hardware that doesn't run Windows 11.

The number of third party software packages that run on Ubuntu LTS out of the box is staggering, the desktops are as good as the Windows desktop, all the major browsers work on it, etc.
