I guess most people use fried ground beef with some kind of spicy tomato sauce in tortilla bread with accessories such as onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, grated cheese. To top it with guacamole, flavored corn chips.
In sweden we have a thing for eating it on fridays, so it is often called taco-friday 😁

But there are of course variations of this, and people use both fish, chicken and vegetarian/vegan stuff and other toppings.

@ambivalena Nice! Millions of ways to make tacos. Never tried a little chopped cucumber on one. But the next time I will! My favorite is a Baja style fish taco. And my favorite street taco is al pastor. A little cucumber would be good on either of them! Can't wait to try it!

Yes there are no limits but imagination and taste I guess. Not familliar with al pastor, so I got no idea what that is.

@ambivalena The traditional street version is a marinated pork roast hanging from a spit spinning in front of a heat source. They shave the crisp outside off and into a small corn tortilla. A little grilled pineapple, cilantro, and chopped onion goes on top. You can make the pork at home by chopping the meat, doing the same marinade, and cooking it under the broiler in your stove to get the crispy burnt bits.
