I will say during rewatches I picked up more subtle jokes I missed other viewings in Hot Fuzz. That shit is layered.

Yeah, kind of felt like it was made to complete the trilogy rather than exist in its own right?
I guess it was good they tried to do something different though, the actors weren't just recycling their previous characters.
