20 years ago today, "Shaun of the Dead," the world's first rom-zom-com, got its full theatrical release in the U.K. GQ talked to director Edgar Wright, star/co-writer Simon Pegg and co-star Nick Frost about George Romero, cricket-bat-swinging, record-hurling, and whether they'll ever get the band back together. This is the movie that started the Cornetto Trilogy. We want to know, which is your favorite of the three?

@lisamelton some days it’s Hot Fuzz for me, some days Shaun of the Dead.

I will say during rewatches I picked up more subtle jokes I missed other viewings in Hot Fuzz. That shit is layered.

@Sonikku @lisamelton "The World's End" is not getting much of a look in in the voting β€” it's currently at the same percentage as "Never seen any of them."

@Sonikku @lisamelton The World's End was a good movie, but it felt like a slog at the start. It was definitely not nearly at the lofty heights of the other two.

@draftexcluder
Yeah, kind of felt like it was made to complete the trilogy rather than exist in its own right?

I guess it was good they tried to do something different though, the actors weren't just recycling their previous characters.
