Apple built an empire on "don't worry about the details" and every techbro has followed the same plan. They'll say it's to keep it simple, but usually it's to keep things hidden. The same reason they fight so hard for DRM and against Right to Repair.

It's up to us who do understand it to say "it's not magic, it's just a timeline. They post a message to RSS, you have an RSS client that understands it, and then you can see the posts, episodes, whatever, grouped by source or by date"
