ICYMI: there was a huge change issued in US immigration policy a couple days ago. It's stunningly wide-reaching, essentially gutting the green card process. Up til now, you could stay in the US while your green card was being processed. Now you will have to go to your home country to wait. This is devastating - first and foremost to the people and families involved, but also to the US economy in general.
