πŸŒ…This morning, I visited my nephew Gabriel on what would have been his 34th birthday. Gabriel was a caring #soul and a dedicated nurse who touched so many lives.

❄️The #snow made it difficult to find his resting place this #morning. I was looking all around, searching the grounds, only to realize he was right in front of me the whole time.

Nurse colleagues from Alex Pretti's intensive care gathered at the memorial in front of the hospital in Minneapolis. They had to be out there, because the hospital is federal ground and refused to let them congregate on the premises.

A vigil was also held at the site of his murder on Wednesday.
