This photo has been edited into a black and white format. It was taken during the Fall in a lowland area of a hiking trail that passes through a forested area. A metal footbridge extends forward with sweeping and gradual curves along it's path. The walking surface is expanded metal with narrow gaps which allow rainwater to pass through. The tubular top railing on each side is silver grey in colour and quite shiny. The railing uprights are curved with holes which accommodate metal cables about 6" apart which run the full length of the bridge, five rows high. This provides an effective barrier below the top rail. The footbridge is an interesting architectural structure. Shadows from the trees can be seen on the bridge surface, as it was a sunny day.
