A dark night sky shot showing a low, black horizon, above it a curving band of bright green aurora with vertical rays through it, some faint reds and purples can be seen above the green band. A streaking meteor can be seen in the lower left quarter and some dark clouds in the right. A few lights can be seen on the low ground. The Plough is visible just right of centre
