It's Friday! Woohoo! The dancers had a bit of a crisis today, with the first dance they attempted being slightly beyond their capabilities given the time they had to learn it. They will return to it at some point, I am sure, but in the meantime they're clapping some more sparkles into the world.
found this apparently happy lichen on a hike earlier this week in southwestern colorado, growing on sandstone. can anyone confirm that this is a foliose lichen and it's exhibiting isidia (versus the algal layer)? i haven't seen these so robust-looking. #lichenSubscribe #mosstodon
