The goodwill on Dearborn has a nice collection of 1910s-20s typewriters, all in nearly impeccable condition and fully working as well (from my testing, at least), all for $25-30

Local #Seattle artist Light Guerrilla projected “TAX THE RICH” on the side of Mark #Zuckerberg 's stupid boat while it was docked in Lake Union. The boat is now anchored in the middle of Elliott Bay several miles away.

Today I took a walk to Twice Sold Tales, and got a book recommendation from the owner. She suggested “Hiroshima”, which she says the New York Times refused to publish, and even blackballed the author for.

Now, because it’s a nice day, I’m settled on the lawn of Cal Anderson to read it— right next to this great big spray-painted penis.
