I haven't watched network TV in years, outside of morning shows, news, and sporting events. This past week, I watched a couple of new series on a whim and thus far I'm liking them both.
One is High Potential on ABC. It's about a cleaning lady with a high IQ, who happens to help the major crimes unit solve a case. She's offered a job, but in return, she wants to find her missing husband who disappeared 15 years ago. It's basically Good Will Hunting with a twist. Stars Kaitlin Olson from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The other is Matlock, a vehicle for Kathy Bates, who talks her way into working for a law firm, but is lying about who she is or her intended purpose. She pretends to have the same name as Matlock-- the lawyer played by Andy Griffith and employs various methods to achieve what she wants. The ending has an interesting twist which makes you want to see further episodes.

How #Harris Roped a Dope
She stayed human when #Trump went feral.
By David Frum
Vice President #KamalaHarris walked onto the #ABC News debate stage w/a mission: trigger a Trump #meltdown.
She succeeded.
Trump had a mission too: control yourself.
He failed.
Trump lost his cool over & over. Goaded by predictable provocations, he succumbed again & again.

The presidential #debate was different from the first — & not just because a new candidate faced off w/ #Trump.
This debate had moments of live fact checking.
That was a departure from the first debate, hosted by #CNN in June, in which moderators Jake Tapper & Dana Bash did not push back or debunk any of the claims made.
But the #ABC moderators during Tuesday’s debate between Trump & MVP #KamalaHarris,, fact-checked Trump 5X. They did not need to #FactCheck Harris.
Live fact-checking set ABC’s debate moderators apart
