A number of prominent #Republicans, including several fmr members of the first #Trump admini, have signed an open letter decrying him for using his #power to punish 2 fmr admin officials who criticized him, likening his actions to those of a “royal despot.”
“For a president to personally & publicly direct the levers of the federal government against publicly named citizens for political reasons sets a new & perilous precedent in our republic,” the group wrote.
The results suggest that while the #IEA has accurately anticipated primary and final energy demand growth, it has historically overestimated the growth in #fossil #fuels and #nuclear #electricity generation and severely underestimated the growth in key #renewable #technologies including solar #photovoltaics and #wind #power, the latter occurring across scenarios.
