#BREAKING: #AlJazeera is reporting, "Israeli forces shot and killed a U.S. peace activist in the occupied West Bank, according to eyewitnesses.

Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, a U.S. citizen, was 26. She was working with the same peace activism movement [International Solidarity Movement ISM] that Rachel Corrie belonged to. Corrie, also a U.S. citizen, was killed by an Israeli bulldozer in 2003 while trying to stop the demolition of a Palestinian home in Rafah.

Aysenur was taking part in a weekly demonstration in Beita against Israel’s occupation and settler dispossession of Palestinian land."
