So, as a follow-up to "The Notebook" (2004), which I've watched countless times, I'm now watching "Top Gun" (1986) which I've watched countless times too.

There's even some romance in "Top Gun" but I've never found the "connection" between #TomCruise & #KellyMcGillis credible because they never seemed like a plausible match to me which was clearly a casting problem.

The romantic "connection" between Cruise & #JenniferConnelly was much better in "Top Gun: Maverick" (2022) IMO. 🤷‍♂️
