Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 769 , Friday 05/12/2025

Friday started at a much more reasonable time of 07:30 which would have been a blessing if I had managed to get anything like a decent nights sleep. But the night was disturbed both by an utter inability to fall asleep & the cries of one of the children next door which went on for ages in the early hours of the morning.

The morning was spent perusing various tasks with my head all over the place.

I have finally got confirmation that we will have a new boiler fitted next Wednesday, so I can rest easy until Wednesday morning when hopefully I won’t have to chase this on the day!

Mrs S has been beavering away thru her mums paperwork to track down the critical papers necessary for the current circumstances.

This afternoon we chilled out & caught up on some of TV shows & treated ourselves to our usual Friday takeaway despite the cold!

Final Thoughts.

I am tired to my bones, but I think that things have moved forward satisfactorily today & I hope that that will allow me to sleep tonight!

Another busy day tomorrow, we’re off on a mission to start brining some order to my MiLs house now that she is gone. We’re also planning a last pre-Christmas trip to Costco™ & possibly get some other shopping in on our way home.

It will be nice to be in a house with the heating on, if only for a short while!
