Looks like Sony/Bethesda finally un-fk'ed the whole #Fallout4 Free PS5 Upgrade situation for PS Plus Essentials subscribers.
The problem with this generation's consoles? Not one company (#Sony, #Microsoft or #Nintendo) is brave enough to put natural woodgrain on their systems. A missed opportunity that I hope they rectify in future generation consoles.

Wow! A Twitch streamer was about to be the highest level player in Maplestory, a MASSIVE feat, considering how long the game has been out.
Maplestory caught wind and proceeded to tweet about it and host his stream on their Twitch channel.
After that, he had about 20-30k viewers wanting to watch Maplestory history being made.
When he was .007% away from hitting level 300, he started ranting about a specific microtransaction item that can't be traded (because it makes maplestory more money) and said that if it wasn't fixed, he'd never login to the game again, then proceeded to shut off the stream. 
I've never played Maplestory, but this has earned MASSIVE respect in my eyes. That's just next level trolling and SO good!

It's Friday! We've made it to the weekend. What do you plan to play or watch?
For streaming, we're still chugging along in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
Offline we're playing Disgaea 4, Angels with Scaly Wings, Cosmic Star Heroine, and Kirby 64. We're watching Shogun as well. On the getting out of the house side, one of us is attending a vinyl records convention and another is going to a local anime convention.

I just found the whole The Journeyman Project series of games on #GOG. I remember I had the second game in this trilogy back when it was released in 1995. I was amazed by the graphics and the FMV.

I am really looking forward to Star Wars: Outlaws and really wanting to get the game. Except Ubisoft is making it really difficult for me to want to cough up $70 for a single-player game only to have day one release stuff locked behind a paywall.
At this point, I really am going to wait a year or two for a sale just so to spite Ubisoft. This is a ridiculous cash grab and it shouldn't be encouraged.

I just fired up the 32 year old game Star Trek: 25th Anniversary and it is really awesome that it works fine. I didn't get much into playing it though because I had no clue what to do and will need to read over the manual.
I bought this game (and its sequel Judgement Rites) in 2017 on #GOG -- mainly just to own them because these two games remind me of my high school years. It's really great that I have access to old games like this.

GOG has become my preferred way to buy games. For each game that I buy I download the offline installer and back the installer onto an external hard drive. It's so nice to be able to buy something that doesn't have DRM and truly own it.
I still shop at #Steam because there are lots of games that never show up at #GOG. But, I always search for games at GOG first before going to Steam.

Started a new run of Stardew Valley on the Steam Deck using the new 1.6 patch. Previously I had played on the Nintendo Switch (top screenshot) and got about halfway through summer in year 2.
So far, I have just about reached the end of year 1 and I am already well ahead in most areas.
Either they've increased the progression rate or I have got better at it. Especially fishing which is infuriating but if you persist slowly gets easier.
I'm still really sad that Westwood Studios was dissolved ❤️ just me?

Season 7 will be the final season for Battlefield 2042. It leaves a bit sad because the game has really turned around is really great now. I am happy that we Battlefield fans got more than the promised four season.
