A writing question for you. What character, who's the most unlike you, have you most enjoyed writing, and why?

One of the new characters I'm introducing in Fast Friends is Varid Emigu. He's an information trader. He reads between the lines a lot and he infers and insinuates. He's very charming but in an understated way. It's fun to explore a character who's playful socially.
