:charlene_the_cat: #CharleneTheCat is back after a scary medical emergency Friday. She still has a lower GI infection we’ll be treating with two antibiotics for another week, but her appetite and regular litter box visits have resumed.

The vet bill for Charlene’s treatment and meds was $635! Thanks SO much to Fedifriends who have already sent donations totaling $515 since Friday.

Charlene has an abdominal obstruction and infection. We're home with a bag full of meds, special food and supplements.

Took Charene to the vet a couple hours ago and discussed her symptoms with Dr. Lina.

She thinks it's probably parasites, but will have to do blood work and x-rays, etc. Hoping it's nothing more serious.

I'm back home, waiting for their call and trying to stay busy. 🙏
