#Thursday #Daylily du jour once more, with a rerun of one of the newest 3 (apparently I missed a different one yesterday, darn it, it's very short.)

This is "Double Wye River"

A bright (bright!) tall yellow double flower, with so many yellow petals they're difficult to count. Sprinklers had run, so the flower is covered in small water droplets. The yellow encompasses the entire bloom, from the straight edges to the throat. Yellow! An unopened bud is visible behind this bloom so (deer willing) you may see another one of this flower.
