Completed my long student #solo #flight this morning, which means I have officially met the qualifications for my private pilot's license! Just have to prep for the final oral/practical tests!

Also got some great pictures while I was in some smooth traffic-free air over central Florida. This state is really gorgeous at 3500 feet.

Delta said that crew on the flight, which had 183 people on board, declared an emergency and returned to John F. Kennedy International #Airport, that it "supporting retrieval efforts."

Just did my first cross country (120nm) #flight at night in #VFR! KORL to KOCF back to KORL.

Most important lesson I learned? Don't #fly at night under visual flight rules. I should wait until I get my instrument rating if I want to fly at night.
